I am from Clarkston, Michigan, and now live in Bloomfield Hills. I have spent my career building companies, chasing ideas, spotting opportunities, and working on whatever keeps me interested long enough to turn it into something real.
But I am more than my work. I am a father to two wonderful children, husband to my beautiful and intelligent wife, Sarah, and full-time ball thrower for Heidi, our five-year-old golden retriever.
I try to have hobbies, but I get bored easily. I have played guitar occasionally for almost 40 years, which is about the same relationship I have with golf. I like reading, listening to new ideas, and testing whether something catches my attention. Sometimes I get bored and move on. Sometimes I stick with it long enough to get pretty good. Either way, I like learning how things work.
